We are thrilled to be able to meet in-person for 2.5 days of enriching conversation and networking with our fellow health communication scholars. We have not seen you since 2019, and we are eager to host you in our stunning new venue, which boasts more spacious meeting rooms, as well as easy convenience to the Dulles airport and DC Metro stations.
Unfortunately, as with everything else in our lives since last we met 4 years ago, our costs have skyrocketed. By eliminating unnecessary items (which we hope you will not miss) and tightening our belts, we’ve been able to reduce, but not eliminate, the inflation in our costs. We are mindful of your tight budgets, so we are dipping into our “rainy day” reserves to limit fee increases as much as we can while still providing a robust program. Regrettably, streaming sessions for remote attendees is beyond our capacity without significant increases in costs.
